Course Overview
The Level 4 Qualification offers a comprehensive introduction to the principal aspects and functions of organisations, addressing the challenges contemporary businesses encounter. This programme aims to cultivate a well-rounded understanding, skills, and competencies that will equip learners with the knowledge and capabilities necessary to be effective managers and leaders in the modern business environment. It is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of key concepts and practices related to effective communication, ethical and sustainable business practices, financial management, organisational leadership, operations management, and marketing principles.
Advancing to the Level 5 Qualification, learners will tackle complex and demanding organisational issues and opportunities. The curriculum's units are closely connected to real-world scenarios and workplace challenges, testing and enhancing learners' practical experience and abilities. This programme offers a comprehensive overview of key management concepts and skills necessary for success in modern organisational settings. It necessitates learners' ability to make informed decisions, devise creative and pragmatic solutions, and devise strategies for addressing organisational obstacles and problems. An action-oriented approach is emphasised, and highly motivated learners seeking career and business advancement will derive significant benefits from this qualification.
The entire programme comprises twelve interactive modules and twelve written assignments, with each module featuring approximately 80 guided learning hours. In addition, all modules include an extra 30-50 learning hours of optional materials consisting of suggested exercises, recommended readings, online resources, and self-assessment exercises. Learners will also have access to round-the-clock support, tutoring services, and various other support resources to facilitate their learning experience.

This unit is designed to examine contemporary theories, methods, and designs in the study of communication systems in organisations of various sizes. It also considers assessing organisational needs and the various methods available to improve organisational communication.
This unit examines the deep and broad aspects of contemporary organisations' ethical issues with the general practice of business and sustainability. It also examines the central philosophical concepts of ethics applied to a critical analysis of both theoretical and practice. It focuses on developing the learner's ethics vocabulary and argument to successfully carry out a subjectivity informed by ethics into his organisational practices. This unit provides the learners with various frameworks to incorporate and critically evaluate sustainability in organisational practice and decision-making.
By comprehending and analysing financial statements, this unit aims to enhance learners' skills in exercising cost management, monitoring the financial performance of their business units, and increasing profitability to achieve financial goals. It will teach a solid core grasp of accounting and financial statement preparation. Learners will be trained in financial analysis to guide decision-making, assess their business unit, and make recommendations to improve financial performance.
This unit explores how ethical leadership is utilised to make effective decisions in global organisations. It examines the theory of ethical decision-making and leadership, including Kohlberg's theory of moral development, and consider how learners may apply these insights to their organisation's day-to-day operations. By the end of the course, learners will know how to make ethical decisions and understand the models, frameworks, and problems that come with them.
The unit in Operations Management aims at providing learners with an essential understanding of scope, strategic importance, and role in operations management, as well as an appreciation for the interaction between operations and organisation, employee and customer. Learners will be able to understand the nature of operations and the importance of the management of operations not only within their organisation but in the context of other organisations competing globally.
This unit examines marketing strategies, techniques, and institutions from the points of view of three different stakeholder groups: consumers, distributors, and manufacturers. Learners will investigate various aspects of marketing, including its concepts, functions, operations, and organisational structures for retail and wholesale businesses, distribution channels, market research, advertising, marketing costs, pricing, cooperative marketing, marketing legislation and regulations, and trends.
Project management is a technique that many businesses use to achieve the best possible outcomes when working with limited resources and stringent time constraints. The application of project management as a means for a company to accomplish its goals is widespread in the services industry. The use of projects as a method for organisational transformation has emerged as a relatively new and significant growth area in project management in recent years. There is a rapid rise in the number of businesses that favour using projects as the primary means to carry out practically all of their activities. The primary goal of this unit is to familiarise the learners with the expansive field of project management approaches and their use on a global scale. In a world that has become increasingly interconnected, there is an ever-increasing demand for leaders equipped to meet the challenges. The unit will provide learners who can understand cultural and ideological differences, respect different habits than those found in their original contexts, and achieve the goals of the projects they are managing.
This unit's primary objective is to introduce learners to the fundamental risk management concepts. In order to gain a better understanding of the current drivers of enterprise risk management and the development and impact of international standards, the history of risk management is investigated. This unit investigates how risks are put into groups and the models and frameworks that can be employed to find, evaluate, and manage those risks.
This unit will teach learners how to assess, build, and implement new and current business models. The training is based on cutting-edge business models and research and innovation strategy. Learners will discover an integrated framework covering business model content and the design process. The unit aims to teach learners how to structure the strategic analysis, ideation, and development stages of business model creation. It is geared toward learners who want to establish a business, manage a venture-backed startup, or work in management consulting or corporate settings. The unit will cover strategy, marketing, entrepreneurship, organisation design, and finance.
In this unit, learners will be introduced to the fundamental concepts and principles of Human Resource Management (HRM).They will gain an understanding of how HRM is essential to the success of any organisation as it encompasses crucial activities such as employee selection, training, assessment, compensation, and retention. Effective HRM practices can significantly impact the overall productivity and success of a company by shaping employees' attitudes and behaviors. Learners will explore how companies that prioritise their employees' well-being tend to have more effective HRM procedures in place. By the end of this unit, learners will have a comprehensive understanding of the role of HRM in organisational success and the importance of implementing effective HRM practices.
This unit is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to implement organisational changes effectively. It emphasises the importance of change management, which involves studying the theories, practices, and people-leading and management skills necessary for long-term transformation. The human element of change at all levels, including personal, professional, and societal, makes change management challenging. While the course explores several change models, it is important to note that all change efforts require individuals to modify their behavior. The primary focus of this unit is to enable learners to become effective change advocates and collaborate with others to facilitate positive change. By the end of this unit, learners will have a comprehensive understanding of change management principles and techniques and be equipped with the skills necessary to lead and manage change in their organisations effectively.
Managing interactions with customers and other company contacts throughout the marketing, sales, and service functions and across all distribution channels is the overarching goal of customer relationship management (CRM). In this unit, learners will learn how to create and implement CRM-based relationship marketing strategies. Relationship marketing, analytical and collaborative CRM, reasons for failed CRM deployment, and the function of CRM in marketing management are discussed throughout the unit.

Entry to LIBT Level 4 Diploma in Business Management
• Learners who have demonstrated some ability and possess qualifications at Level 3 or high school equivalent award.
• Should be at least 18 years old.Entry to LIBT Level 5 Diploma in Business Management
• Completion of Level 4.
