The "Corporate Governance and Globalisation" module aims to provide professionals with a sound understanding of the concept of Corporate Governance and global best practices in this field. By exploring the four pillars of governance and learning how to formulate and implement proper strategies aligned with an organisation's goals, learners will gain an in-depth understanding of the importance of good Corporate Governance practices. The module also covers the impact of globalisation on corporate governance and teaches learners how to adopt good Corporate Governance practices to ensure an organisation's sustainability and resilience in a rapidly changing global business environment. By the end of the module, learners will have the knowledge and skills necessary to become responsible corporate leaders who can navigate the challenges of globalisation and ensure the long-term success of an organisation.
This programme consists of 10 modules totalling 150 credits.
This module critically examines the role of leadership in Strategic Management with reference to basic concepts, principles and major analytical approaches that are utilised in strategic decision making. Through theoretical and empirical approaches to strategy, this module prepares managers and leaders to successfully overcome challenges in the dynamic & complex world of commerce.
Critically evaluate strategic management theories and frameworks and apply them to complex, ambiguous business problems in your own organisation.
Synthesise financial, operational, marketing and HR perspectives into an integrated strategic plan, and defend it against board‑level challenge.
Lead change initiatives that account for organisational culture, ethics and global operating contexts.
Reflect on your own leadership practice and design a personal development plan that progresses you toward Chartered Manager status with the CMI.
